University Leadership Responds to the Death of George Floyd
 

On June 1, the president of Columbia University, Lee C. Bollinger, shared a statement with the Columbia community reflecting on recent events and the death of George Floyd. Following his statement, numerous leaders throughout Columbia shared similar messages which can be found here.

A number of justice initiatives take place at the University. We invite you to learn more about the Justice Lab, Connecting Youth Initiative, ReEntry Acceleration Program, Center for Justice, Center for Institutional and Social Change, Justice in Education Initiative, and numerous programs from the African American and African Diaspora Studies Department.
 
Fight Hunger in Upper Manhattan

The Columbia Neighbors Food Relief Fund is bringing together the extraordinary resources of the Columbia community to heighten awareness, raise funds, and deploy resources to address food insecurity in Upper Manhattan. Every dollar donated to the fund through the Medical Center Neighborhood Fund and the Columbia Community Service Food Relief Project will be used to support the program.
