The new vote.columbia.edu site provides helpful links and important information to prepare you to vote. Important upcoming deadlines include:
October 24-November 1: Early Voting. Be sure to check your polling site, since it may not be the same as your regular election day voting location.
October 27: Absentee Ballot Request Deadline. New York absentee ballots must be postmarked by November 3 and received by November 10 to be accepted, and the USPS recommends allowing at least a week to receive your ballot and another week to return it.
