October 24-November 1:Early Voting. Be sure to check your polling site, since it may not be the same as your regular election day voting location.
October 27:Absentee Ballot Request Deadline. New York absentee ballots must be postmarked by November 3 and received by November 10 to be accepted, and the USPS recommends allowing at least a week to receive your ballot and another week to return it.
November 3:Election Day. The polls in New York are open from 6am to 9pm.
